OK, I have this problem. There are about 6 weeks a friend came to me and asked me to repair his car for him and I was fine with that. For 6 weeks I have not seen or heard from her, not me. But what to do with this car? I live in New York and I am not sure whether the law on abandoned vehicles. I looked online and could not really find it now. I know that after 30 days, the car is as abandoned. What now? "The car finally, by the city or not the car get towed away to be mine, because it belongs to me?

When I lived in New York, an abandoned car outside of our work, we have called the police several times without success, which does not have TBI. Then he took the plates from the car and asked the Department of Sanitation. The car was gone in less than 1 hour!
